My name is Pratik Mishra
I am an aspiring Product Manager currently pursuing the General Management Program at XLRI Jamshedpur. I am an alumnus of BITS Pilani (2021) and worked as a Software Developer at Citibank for 3.5 years. I began my MBA journey in 2023, struggling with CAT, XAT, and GMAT. In 2024, I received admissions from multiple universities, including XLRI, ISB, and Nanyang Business School.

Left Turn #1
Choosing Software Development after Civil Engg. Why? A lot of core jobs were destroyed during covid, making the transition a neccessity.

Could not crack CAT, XAT, GMAT in the first attempt. Leading to a year of self-doubt - so i know how this bet feels. Asymmetric ?! I can answer - "Does studying again for 1 year make sense ?"

Finally cracked the B-school entrance exams, followed up with clearing XLRI, NTU and ISB. Why not ISB - is a question that has been posed to me more times than i can recount - the answer is on the blogs.
